How do I view or change my subscription?
- Open the Abby Health app and sign in.
- Tap Profile.
- Choose Subscription.
- Review what is active, when it next renews, and the price.
- Use the buttons to Change plan, Update payment, Pause, or Cancel.
Most changes apply on the next billing cycle. If a change should take effect sooner — for example, you have moved overseas — message support inside the app and we will sort it.
What does Unlimited Care include?
Unlimited Care is a continuity-of-care layer for patients who use Abby regularly. It is designed to make ongoing care simpler. Common inclusions across plans:
- Priority access to your preferred clinician for follow-ups.
- Coordinated repeat-prescription management without booking a fresh consult each time, where clinically appropriate.
- Active management of your medical record by Abby AI, our medical decision-support tool, which surfaces history to your clinician at the start of each consult.
- Reminders for screening, immunisations, and chronic-condition reviews.
- Support contact for non-clinical questions (billing, scheduling, access).
The exact inclusions depend on the plan you have chosen — the current detail is always shown in the Subscription screen before you confirm.
Does it replace Medicare bulk billing?
No. Unlimited Care does not replace Medicare-funded appointments. The standard rule still applies: Abby appointments are bulk billed for eligible patients with a valid Medicare card. The subscription pays for the continuity layer — record management, ongoing coordination, support — that sits around your appointments. Bulk-billed eligibility is governed by the rules in the Medicare Benefits Schedule.

How do I update my payment method?
- Tap Profile > Subscription > Payment method.
- Add a new card or select an existing one.
- Save.
If a payment fails — for example, your card has expired — we will email you and pause the subscription gently rather than instantly cutting access. You will have a grace period to update the card. Card details are stored with our PCI-compliant payment provider, never on Abby servers directly.
Can I pause my subscription instead of cancelling?
Yes. Many patients prefer to pause if they are travelling, between life stages, or simply want a break. Pausing keeps your record intact and your clinician relationship live, but stops the recurring charge.
- Go to Profile > Subscription > Pause.
- Choose how long you want to pause for.
- Confirm. The subscription will resume automatically on the date you select, unless you cancel beforehand.
Pausing does not affect your access to bulk-billed Medicare appointments — those run independently of the subscription.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Cancellation is straightforward and takes a few taps.
- Go to Profile > Subscription > Cancel.
- Choose a reason (optional, but it helps us improve).
- Confirm.
You will keep access until the end of the current billing period. Your medical record stays on file under the standard Department of Health retention rules. You can re-subscribe any time without losing your history. For privacy detail, see your data at Abby.
Will my clinician relationship continue if I cancel?
Yes — bulk-billed appointments remain available, with the same clinicians.
