We understand it can be disappointing if a consultation doesn't result in the outcome you hoped for. However, we do not offer refunds based on the clinical outcome of a consultation. When you book an appointment, you are paying for the clinician's dedicated time, their professional expertise, and a comprehensive medical assessment based on the information you provide. To ensure the highest quality of care and patient safety, our clinicians must exercise their independent professional judgment. This may mean that a prescription, medical certificate, or referral is not deemed clinically appropriate for your situation. We fully support and respect our clinicians' professional decisions as part of our commitment to responsible medical practice.
When you are eligible for a refund (by cancelling at least 30 mins in advance), we process it from our end instantly. From there, it may take your bank up to 5-10 business days to process the funds and return them to your account. This processing time is dependent on your financial institution and is outside of our control.
We understand that plans can change. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our patients and our clinicians. We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 30 minutes before the scheduled appointment time. This policy allows us to offer the appointment slot to another patient who needs care. How to Cancel: You can easily cancel the appointment yourself directly within the Abby app. Late Cancellations: Cancellations made with less than 30 minutes' notice, or missed appointments, are not eligible for a refund as the clinician's time has been reserved for you.
