Abby is here to help make sense of your health.

My fingers are tingling and the tips are really painful.
Hello Christine,
Given your ongoing chemotherapy treatment, you may be experiencing Neuropathy. This can be due to the effect of the drugs on the nerves in these areas.
Have you also noticed a similar feeling in your feet?
Abby, I'm in pain down there. It feels like it's burning when I pee, and I keep needing to go.
Hi Rebecca,
This can be quite uncomfortable. Let’s figure out what’s going on. Where exactly is your burning sensation?
I’ve started taking these new pain meds and now I have a rash all over my body…
Hi James,
Sometimes a rash can be a side effect of the pain medication you’ve been taking, such as Palexia. Are you experiencing shortness of breath or fever, too?
I am feeling so exhausted. I thought I had a good night's sleep but I feel dead.
Hi Pete,
It’s important to remember that you had covid only four weeks ago. Your fatigue could be a symptom of a condition called Long Covid. Do you still have your cough?

Our research

Led by our Chief Medical Officer, A/Prof Peter O’Brien, we’re pioneering the new science of patient-reported outcomes by listening to the patient’s whole story.

Listening to the nuances of a patient’s experience — distress, symptoms, side effects, mental health, and quality of life —creates a holistic understanding of the patient, their disease and the impact of treatment.

Our research aims to prove that integrating contextual, qualitative patient data within routine care will improve clinical decision-making, operational efficiency and most importantly, patient outcomes.
