Anyone with a valid Medicare card can use Abby Health for either a bulk billed (if eligible), or private consultation. Our online clinic is designed for people who don’t have a regular GP, need fast access to a doctor or nurse practitioner, or live in areas with limited healthcare options. If you’re eligible, you can book an appointment and receive prescriptions, referrals, medical certificates, and mental health plans—all from your phone.

Who Can Use Abby Health
You can use Abby Health if you meet the following criteria:
✅ You have a valid Australian Medicare card — Abby Health bulk bills eligible patients whenever possible. However, due to updated Medicare rules (effective 1 November 2025), some nurse practitioner consultations now require a private fee. You’ll always see the fee before booking.
✅ You are physically in Australia at the time of your consultation — Medicare regulations require this for all telehealth services.
✅ You need a general consultation, prescription, referral, or medical certificate — Abby Health covers a wide range of everyday healthcare needs.

🚫 Patients requesting restricted medications such as painkillers, ADHD medication, or benzodiazepines (Schedule 8 & Schedule 4D drugs)
