I'm a GP who consults in English and Hindi. I look after patients across general practice and I try to take the time to understand the full picture, not just the reason for the visit. If something is on your mind, I would rather you raised it than left it for next time.

Being able to consult in both English and Hindi means a lot to me. So much of medicine comes down to really understanding each other, and that's easier when you can speak in the language you think in.

Across general practice, I try to take in the full picture rather than just the reason you booked. Often the thing that matters most surfaces near the end, almost as an afterthought, so I leave room for it. If something's on your mind, I'd much rather you raised it than saved it for next time.

Consider this your invitation to do exactly that.
