Before medicine, I spent thirteen years in the Royal Australian Navy as an engineer. That's an unusual road into general practice, but it left me with a deep respect for the people who serve, and a real drive to look after them well.
These days I have a particular focus on veterans' health and men's health, two areas where people often soldier on far longer than they should. I see patients of all ages, though, across the whole of general practice.
If you've been carrying something quietly, I'm someone who'll take it seriously.
