Most of the people I see are women and children, and a lot of what we talk about sits in the quieter corners of health: family planning, menopause, mental health, the check-ups that are easy to keep putting off. I'd rather you raised those things with me than carried them alone.

I trained in obstetrics and gynaecology before I moved into general practice, and I think that's why I tend to look at the whole of your life, not just today's symptom. Nothing with me is rushed.

If we meet again, you won't have to explain yourself from scratch. I'll have your history in front of me, and we'll carry on from where we left off.

Warmly,

Ping Lee
