I qualified as a doctor in 2009 and made my way to Australia not long after, starting hospital work at Latrobe Regional Hospital in 2015 before settling into general practice in 2017. General practice was a deliberate choice. I like getting to know patients and their families over time, the slow work of understanding someone properly.
My particular interests are preventive health, paediatric health, women's health and chronic disease management. A lot of what I do comes down to problem-solving, sitting with a concern until it makes sense, then finding a practical way forward.
I speak English and Yoruba, and whatever language we use, my aim is the same: that you feel listened to and leave with a clear plan.
Drop in whenever something needs sorting, and we'll figure it out together.
