My path into medicine started in Nepal and carried me to Australia, where I went on to earn my fellowship of the RACGP and a postgraduate diploma in skin cancer surgery. Study has stayed part of the job. I've added public health and occupational health along the way.
These days I also examine and supervise the GPs coming up behind me, and teach at university level. Teaching has a way of keeping you sharp and reminding you to explain things plainly.
If English isn't your first language, we may still share one. I speak Bengali, Nepali, Hindi and Urdu, and I know how much easier it is to talk about your health in your own words.
Whatever you've been putting off, we can work through it together.
