I'm Dr Santosh Lionel Thomas, a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. I graduated from Madras Medical College in 1997 and completed my residency training in Family Medicine at Christian Medical College, Vellore in 2005. I hold a Master of Medicine (Family Medicine) from the National University of Singapore and Membership of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), and I have a Graduate Diploma in Geriatric Medicine from NUS. I served as a Family Physician within the National University Health System, Singapore for ten years before migrating to Australia, and have over 22 years of experience across multicultural settings, including chronic disease management for patients of all ages, with a particular focus on health issues concerning older adults. I joined Abby Health in October 2025 and have worked casually with the practice for around six months. I speak English, Hindi, Malayalam, and Tamil.
