What keeps me in this work is simple. I want to ease pain where I can and help people get back to a fuller, healthier life. That's been my reason since I began practising medicine in Iran in 2011, and it followed me to Australia in 2019.
More than fourteen years on, I still find general practice endlessly varied and deeply human. I try to bring patience and real attention to every consult, because feeling properly heard is so often where healing starts.
Away from the clinic I paint in watercolour, and I think it's made me gentler with the unfinished and the imperfect, in art and in people both.
Easing the worry, not just the symptom, is what I'll always aim for with you.
