I'm Dr Maxy (Max) Mariasegaram, a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. I completed my medical degree at the University of Sydney and undertook my General Practice training in Melbourne after hospital work across NSW and Victoria. I also hold a Diploma in Child Health and previously completed a PhD in genetics at the University of Melbourne, followed by nearly a decade of postdoctoral research. My clinical interests span chronic disease management, mental health, paediatrics, acute medicine, and procedural work. I joined Abby Health in November 2025 and work casually with the practice. I speak English and Tamil.
