I've spent forty years in remote health, as a Fellow of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. That's a long time in places where the nearest specialist might be hundreds of kilometres away, and where a GP has to be ready for whatever walks through the door.
I see patients of every age. Working remotely teaches you to slow down, take a proper history and never assume, because out there you can't always send someone off for a quick second opinion.
All those years taught me to listen first, and that's how I'll start with you.
