I'm Dr Asha Deraniyagala, a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. I earned my medical degree from Ruhuna University in Sri Lanka and completed my residency at Lady Ridgeway Hospital and Castle Street Women's Hospital before obtaining my Fellowship of the RACGP in 2008. I have more than 25 years of experience in patient care and take a holistic approach, focused not only on treating illness but on overall quality of life. I joined Abby Health in November 2025 and work casually with the practice. I see patients aged 1 to 85, and I speak English and Sinhalese.
