I trained in Sri Lanka, including time at one of the largest children's hospitals in the world, before settling into general practice here and earning my Fellowship in 2008. More than twenty-five years on, the part I value most is still the long conversation.
My approach is a holistic one. I'm interested in the illness in front of us, of course, but also in how you're sleeping, coping and living around it. Careful listening does a great deal of the work.
What I'd hope you take away is the sense of being properly understood, and a clear idea of where we go from here.
You'll always be more than a diagnosis to me, and I'll see you through.
