How do I contact the Abby Support Team?

Last Updated
April 25, 2026

The fastest way to contact the Abby Health support team is via live chat in the Abby Health app — tap Support in the menu and start a conversation. You can also email the team at support@abbyhealth.app. For urgent medical concerns, do not contact support — book an appointment directly or, in an emergency, call 000. You can find full details lower down on this page, or book a bulk-billed appointment to talk it through with one of our clinicians.

How do I contact the Abby Health support team?

The fastest way to contact the Abby Health support team is via live chat in the Abby Health app — tap Support in the menu and start a conversation. You can also email the team at support@abbyhealth.app. For urgent medical concerns, do not contact support — book an appointment directly or, in an emergency, call 000.

Live chat: the fastest way to reach us

Live chat is the quickest route to a response from the Abby Health team. It is available directly within the app:

  1. Open the Abby Health app on your phone or tablet.
  2. Tap Support in the main navigation menu.
  3. Select Live Chat.
  4. Type your question or describe your issue — a team member will respond as quickly as possible.

Live chat is monitored during extended hours, 7 days a week. For most queries — technical issues, appointment concerns, account questions — live chat will get you to a resolution faster than email.

Email support

If your issue is not time-sensitive or you need to include details or attachments, email is a good option:

  • Email: support@abbyhealth.app
  • Include your full name, the email address registered with your Abby Health account, and a clear description of your issue.
  • If your query relates to a specific appointment, include the date and approximate time of the consultation.

Email responses are typically handled during business hours. For faster resolution, live chat is recommended where available.

Self-service: the Help Centre

Many common questions can be answered immediately through the Abby Health Help Centre without needing to contact the team. The Help Centre covers:

What should I contact support about?

The Abby Health support team can help with:

  • Technical issues: Problems with video calls, app access, camera, microphone, or browser compatibility
  • Appointment concerns: Queries about a specific booking, a no-show recording, or a clinician who did not connect
  • Account and billing: Updating your details, Medicare card queries, account access issues
  • General questions: How Abby works, what services are available, or anything else about your experience

Support is not the right channel for clinical questions — those should be addressed in a consultation with an Abby Health clinician. To book an appointment, visit abbyhealth.app.

What should I do for urgent medical concerns?

If you have an urgent medical concern, do not contact support — book a consultation through the app instead. Abby Health has clinicians available 7 days a week and same-day appointments are often available. For after-hours availability, see after-hours and weekend telehealth.

If your symptoms are severe or worsening, call 000 or go to the nearest emergency department. If you are unsure whether something can wait, Healthdirect runs a 24-hour nurse helpline for non-emergency advice. If you are in a mental health crisis, call Lifeline on 13 11 14 or 000.

Privacy and your support interactions

When you contact the Abby Health support team, any information you share is handled in accordance with Australian privacy law. Our team will only access your account and appointment information where needed to resolve your query. For more information, see your data at Abby and the OAIC privacy rights guide.
