Yes, you can book a menopause consultation online with Abby Health, seven days a week. An Australian-registered clinician can talk through your symptoms, discuss treatment options including menopausal hormone therapy where clinically appropriate, arrange blood tests, and set up follow-up care that stays with you.

What a menopause consultation covers

Perimenopause and menopause show up differently for everyone: hot flushes, disrupted sleep, mood changes, brain fog, irregular cycles, joint aches. In a consultation your clinician will take a proper history, talk through what you are experiencing, and discuss the full range of options, from lifestyle approaches through to menopausal hormone therapy and non-hormonal treatments where clinically appropriate. The Australasian Menopause Society and Healthdirect both provide good background reading.

How to book

Book a scheduled telehealth appointment at a time that suits you, or start from the menopause clinic page. Menopause deserves an unhurried conversation, so a scheduled appointment usually suits it better than the First Available queue. Consultations are bulk billed for eligible patients with a valid Medicare card.

Tests and follow-up

Where testing is useful, your clinician can issue a pathology referral for you to take to a local collection centre, and review the results with you afterwards. Menopause care is rarely one appointment: doses get adjusted, symptoms evolve, and questions come up. Because your history stays with Abby Health, you can rebook the same clinician and pick up exactly where you left off.

Talking about it is the hard part

Many women tell us they put this conversation off for months. It can happen from your kitchen table, with a clinician who has read your history before the call connects. That is the entire point of an online-first clinic.
